Bangladesh, July 7 -- A case has been filed over the crude bomb explosion at a National Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Savar, while police have formed a committee to investigate the incident.

No arrests have been made so far, police said.

Police Inspector (Investigation) Nur Mohammad said NCP Dhaka North District Member Secretary Salamat Ullah Rony filed the case under the Explosives Act with Savar Model Police Station late on Monday night.

The case names unidentified suspects.

The explosion occurred around 9:45pm on Monday during an NCP rally at the Tarapur Eidgah Ground in Savar, leaving three people injured.
