Dhaka, June 25 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has spent a busy day in Beijing, holding a series of meetings with senior Chinese business leaders ahead of high-level talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.

Executives from several major Chinese industrial groups met the prime minister at the Diaoyutai State Guest House on Thursday.

In a press conference there in the afternoon, Prime Minister's Office spokesman Mahdi Amin said: "Today, top officials of major Chinese industrial groups saw Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in a series of meetings."
