Dhaka, March 2 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has spoken with experts about overhauling the traffic system to ease congestion in the capital.
The meeting took place at the prime minister's office at the Secretariat on Monday morning, said his Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman.
He said the prime minister met a group of experts led by engineer Shamsul Haque of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and sought their opinions on revamping the traffic system to address gridlock in Dhaka.
The prime minister arrived at the Secretariat at 9:13am from his Gulshan residence. He had attended office there on Sunday as well.
