Dhaka, June 22 -- After completing a two-day visit to Malaysia, Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has departed the country for China's Dalian.

He departed on board a special Bangladesh Biman flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 5pm local time, said the Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

He said, "[Tarique] has started his journey from Malaysia to Dalian, China. He will be in Dalian for a busy two-day programme."

"After that, the prime minister will travel to Beijing, the capital of China, where the main programme of the state visit will begin."

Tarique will attend the annual conference of the World Economic Forum in Dalian.
