Dhaka, April 22 -- The National Executive Committee of Bangladesh Scouts has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Secretariat.
The meeting was held on Wednesday at the prime minister's special meeting room in the Cabinet Division, according to Tarique's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.
The delegation was led by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani, he said.
According to Rumon, the prime minister was briefed on Bangladesh Scouts' current activities and future plans.
He said Tarique praised the role of the scouting movement in helping build a skilled, patriotic and humane younger generation.
