Dhaka, Oct. 4 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman wants to see "visible progress" in the construction of the Inner Circular Ring Road, a circular road project aimed at easing traffic congestion in the capital.

At a review meeting held at the Cabinet Division in the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday, the prime minister instructed officials to accelerate the project, said Deputy Press Secretary Mostafa Zulfiquar Hasan.

He said, "The meeting discussed identifying the existing obstacles to implementing the project and removing them quickly, ensuring effective coordination among the relevant agencies, and setting a realistic deadline for completing the work."
