Dhaka, June 8 -- A petition has been submitted to file a case of "negligence" against former chief advisor to the interim government Muhammad Yunus, former health advisor Nurjahan Begum, and three others over the deaths of children from measles.

Kishoreganj-5 MP Mujibur Rahman Iqbal filed the application in the court of Dhaka's Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam on Monday.

The plaintiff's lawyer, Salahuddin Laskar, said that the application for the case has been submitted, but a hearing has yet to be held
