Dhaka, March 31 -- Sharif Omar bin Hadi, elder brother of Inqilab Moncho's slain convenor Sharif Osman bin Hadi, has "apologised in advance" to the members of the organisation.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday afternoon, he said he will write in detail about the events that unfolded before and after his brother's killing.

However, he apologised over allegations that may arise against the members of the Inqilab Moncho.

His social media post immediately stirred discussions and criticism, with many taking the issue seriously and waiting eagerly for Omar's detailed statement to be released.

Osman Hadi was shot in the head in Dhaka's Bijoynagar on Dec 12, and died while receiving advanced treatment in Singapore on Dec 18.
