Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu has announced plans to introduce a one-stop service to resolve complexities and curb irregularities in land administration.

Speaking in Rajshahi, the lawmaker elected from Rajshahi-2 said the initiative will deliver land services directly to citizens' doorsteps while ensuring quicker disposal of applications.

On Friday, after a courtesy meeting with party leaders and activists at the Padma Community Centre in Rajshahi city, Minu said: "Through this system, citizens will be able to complete document verification, land registration, record inspection and other land-related work in a single location.

He said the system is expected to cut both time and expenses, reducing public suffering....
