Bangladesh, July 8 -- A bus driver has been killed and at least 20 passengers, including the driver of the other bus, have been injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Bahubal Upazila of Habiganj.

The accident occurred around 8:30am on Wednesday in front of the Akij Venture Company near Dubai Bazar on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway, said Shubho Ranjan Chakma, chief of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station.

The deceased was the driver of the Unique Paribahan bus. Police, however, have not yet been able to confirm his identity.
