Dhaka, March 15 -- The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has decided to host the main Eid-ul-Fitr prayer congregation at the Old Trade Fair ground in Agargaon this year.

The congregation is scheduled to begin at 8am on Eid day, according to a statement issued by the city authority on Sunday.

The decision was made in a meeting, chaired by DNCC Administrator Shafiqul Islam Khan.

The venue will feature three separate entry points, including a dedicated entrance for women, alongside comprehensive ablution facilities to accommodate the expected turnout.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police will deploy two platoons for security, while the Traffic Division, DPDC, and WASA will coordinate to manage traffic flow and maintain uninterrupted power and...
