Northern Bangladesh braces for four days of rain
Dhaka, May 15 -- A wet spell is expected to linger over northern Bangladesh for four days, while temperatures across the country are likely to inch upwards.
In a video bulletin released on the verified Facebook page of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday night, Assistant Meteorologist Afroza Sultana said rain-bearing clouds are set to spread across several parts of the country from 6am on Friday.
According to the forecast, 51 to 75 percent of areas in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusty or squally winds accompanied by moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers over the next 24 hours.
