Bangladesh, Sept. 10 -- A night watchman has been stabbed to death in Cox's Bazar's Teknaf following an argument. Five others have been injured in the incident.

The incident occurred in the Notun Pallan Para area of Teknaf Sadar Union around 9pm on Wednesday, according to Md Saiful Islam, chief of Teknaf Model Police Station.

Nazir Hossain, 47, was a local resident and had worked as a night watchman for the Station Bazar Committee in Teknaf for a long time.

The injured have been identified as Md Salam, Jahangir Alam, Nabi Hossain, Khorshed Alam, and Alamgir. Some of them received treatment at the hospital.
