Newly appointed BSEC chairman, commissioners move into office, outline priorities
Dhaka, June 4 -- The newly appointed chairman and three commissioners of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) have arrived at the regulator's headquarters after taking charge.
They have begun outlining their plans for the country's capital market watchdog.
On Thursday, Chairman Masud Khan and Commissioners Nahid Mahtab, Tanwir Habib Rahman and Nafeez Al Tarik reached the Agargaon office shortly after 3pm.
The four are holding discussions in the commission's conference room, where they are presenting their priorities and plans.
Also present at the meeting are Prime Minister's Special Assistant Tanvir Ghani and Financial Institutions Division Secretary Nazma Mobarek.
