Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- The home ministry has announced the reshuffle of 11 senior police officers through two separate gazette notifications.

Kamrul Ahsan of the Police Headquarters has been appointed chief of the Special Branch (SB), while GM Azizur Rahman, principal of the Police Academy, has been made chief of Tourist Police.

Mostafizur Rahman, DIG of Khulna Range, has been transferred and given charge of Dhaka Range.

Outgoing SB chief Sardar Nurul Amin has been posted to the Police Headquarters, while Mainul Hasan, the outgoing Tourist Police chief, has been appointed principal of the Police Academy in Sarda, Rajshahi.
