Bangladesh, Aug. 26 -- Grand Theft Auto VI is heading to Netflix before it hits consoles, with Rockstar Games confirming a first-of-its-kind partnership to premiere extended footage from the highly anticipated game exclusively on the streaming platform.

Netflix subscribers will get the first look at the new footage on Thursday at 3pm ET (1am Bangladesh time on Friday), the streaming giant said, nearly three months before the game itself is released.

The timing carries some symbolism: the reveal comes 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V first launched, in the same year Netflix began its push into original programming.
