Dhaka, April 14 -- NCP leader Hasnat Abdullah has been confronted by local Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal activists following a meeting with former Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) mayor M Manjur Alam.

The incident occurred in Kattali after Hasnat visited the former mayor's residence at his invitation on Tuesday.

Riduan Hridoy, coordinator of the NCP's Chattogram media cell, described the visit as a "courtesy call" during Hasnat's personal trip to the port city.

Hasnat reportedly stayed at the house for several hours before leaving around 6pm.
