Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) will provide an online income tax return service on Friday and Saturday to assist candidates contesting the upcoming 13th general election.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the revenue authority said it had set up a special helpdesk to facilitate online return filing by election candidates.

The helpdesk will operate from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday at the E-Tax Management Unit, located on the seventh floor of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) building in Ramna, Dhaka. It will remain open from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday at the same venue.
