Dhaka, June 1 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has warned the public to be cautious of fraudsters who are collecting money by falsely claiming they can secure jobs in the Income Tax Wing of the organisation.

In a press statement issued on Monday, the first working day after the Eid holidays, the tax authority stated that it had received information that such fraudulent groups were operating in different parts of the country.

The NBR also requested that any information regarding these fraudsters be reported to the relevant Tax Commissioner's Office or to the NBR's Public Relations Division.
