Dhaka, June 29 -- Mustafa Monwar, the artist, theatre director, and art researcher known for his pioneering work in puppetry, will be buried in Dhaka's Banani Graveyard on Tuesday afternoon.

His body arrived at his residence in Dhanmondi on Monday afternoon.

There, painter Moniruzzaman told bdnews24.com: "Tomorrow, at 9am, Mustafa Monwar's body will first be taken to the Bangladesh Television (BTV) premises. His first funeral prayers will be held there."

"Then, from BTV, the body will be taken to the Central Shaheed Minar between 10:30am and 11:30am. The body will be there until 12:30pm for people from all walks of life to pay their respects."
