Dhaka, May 18 -- Veteran Mushfiqur Rahim has scored a magnificent century to put Bangladesh in a dominant position against Pakistan in the 2nd Test in Sylhet.

It was his 14th century in Tests, taking him past teammate Mominul Haque and making him the Bangladeshi batsman with the most 100-run performances in the format.

The ton helped stretch Bangladesh's lead to above 360 on Monday, a substantial total in a game that had been low-scoring until now.

At the end of the 85th over, the Tigers had scored 325/6, taking a lead of 371 runs.

Despite the early loss of captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh pressed the advantage on Day 3 of the Test, with Mushfiqur and Litton Das (69) putting up 123 runs off 188 balls for the fifth wicket.
