Bangladesh, Sept. 10 -- A 28-year-old man has been hacked to death by a group of attackers in Khulna's Sonadanga.

The incident occurred around 8:30pm on Wednesday behind Talukdar Community Centre, according to Sonadanga Model Police chief Mohammad Rafiqul Islam.

The victim, Md Mostakin, was a resident of the Alkatra Mill area under Khulna Sadar Police Station.

He worked as a technician at an electrical shop in the city.

Rafiqul said Mostakin was standing near the community centre and using his phone when eight people arrived on four motorcycles and attacked him with sharp weapons.

He suffered multiple injuries, the police officer said.

Local residents took Mostakin to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead...
