Dhaka, June 9 -- A sparkling innings from Mosaddek Hossain and a steady knock from Najmul Hossain Shanto has taken the Tigers to a solid 284/4 in the first ODI against Australia in Mirpur.

Despite the early loss of Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan (54) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (67) kept up a steady flow of runs to give Bangladesh a solid foundation early in the match on Tuesday.

Pacer Nathan Ellis (3-38) and off-spinner Matt Renshaw (2-35) caused some issues in the middle overs, picking up the wickets of Tanzid, Litton Das (7), and Shanto to hold Bangladesh to 140-4 in the 26th over.
