Dhaka, April 25 -- Zamil Ahamed Limon, the Bangladeshi doctoral student who had gone missing alongside another student, has been found dead in the US, reports NBC News.

Limon's body was recovered on Friday morning (local time) on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death. Nahida Sultana Bristy, the student who had gone missing alongside Limon, is still missing.

Limon's roommate was arrested at their home following a domestic violence incident at the residence, police said.

Limon and Bristy, students of University of South Florida, were last seen in Tampa on Apr 16.
