Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- Four cases have been filed at two police stations in connection with a clash between hawkers, police and city corporation workers during an eviction drive in Dhaka's Mirpur.

Twenty-five people have been arrested in these cases so far, said Mirpur Division Deputy Commissioner Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabder.

Of these, three cases have been filed at Mirpur Model Police Station, two of which were filed by the police and one by the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).

A total of 17 people have been named in these cases, with 400 to 500 unidentified suspects listed in each of them.
