Dhaka, April 6 -- The body of Abdullah Al Mamun, a Bangladeshi expatriate who was killed in a missile attack amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, has returned home.
His body arrived at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport aboard a Saudia Airlines flight at 9:45am on Monday, the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment said in a press release.
The bodies of four expatriate Bangladeshis killed in the conflict have now arrived in the country. Mamun hails from Mymensingh's Gafargaon Upazila.
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury received the body of at the airport. The father of the deceased was also present at the time.
