Dhaka, March 1 -- Flight operations to Middle Eastern destinations are resuming at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram after a series of cancellations linked to the escalating conflict involving Iran.
Airport authorities said Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-135 to Jeddah was scheduled to depart Chattogram at 4:10pm on Sunday.
Public Relations Officer Ibrahim Khalil told bdnews24.com that the airport had been informed of the departure of the Jeddah-bound flight.
"We have yet to receive any information regarding other airlines," he said.
