Dhaka, April 10 -- A child with measles-like symptoms has died while undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH). Another 20 children have been hospitalised over the 24-hour period.

The child died around 11:30am on Thursday. MMCH Additional Director Mohammad Mainuddin Khan said on Friday morning the child was also suffering from other health complications in addition to the disease.

Three-year-old Abdullah was admitted to the hospital on Apr 2 with measles-like symptoms. He was the son of Md Rony and Arifa Akhter, who lived in Mymensingh city's Jamtola Mor area.
