Dhaka, June 30 -- Bangladesh has registered two more child deaths linked to measles symptoms in a day, with 114 new cases confirmed in the same period.

In its regular measles bulletin on Tuesday, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said that 93 people have died of confirmed cases of measles across the country since Mar 15.

In addition, 625 people with suspected measles cases have also died over the time frame.

The Dhaka Division has logged the highest number of symptomatic fatalities at 269.

The death toll across other regions stands at 88 in Rajshahi, 80 in Sylhet, 51 in Chattogram, 39 in Barishal, 62 in Mymensingh, 28 in Khulna, and eight in Rangpur.
