Bangladesh, July 18 -- The BNP government has achieved "multidimensional and unprecedented success" across all ministries during its first five months in office, focusing on democratic reconstruction and economic stability, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.

Speaking at a press conference at the PMO on Saturday, spokesperson Mahdi Amin said the government's achievements could be grouped into five broad areas: public trust, protection of the interests of people from all walks of life in line with its election manifesto, successful handling of major short-term challenges, safeguarding national sovereignty and freedoms, and the statesmanlike leadership of the prime minister.
