Dhaka, March 4 -- At least two people have died after locals beat suspected thieves in Munshiganj's Louhajang.
They died while undergoing treatment at the Upazila health xomplex on Wednesday, said Louhaganj Police Station chief Md Monirul Islam.
They were caught by the public and beaten while attempting thefts in the Satgharia area on Tuesday night.
The dead were identified as Sagar, 32, and Sanarul, 34. They belonged to the river nomad community in Goali Mandra on Louhajang.
