Dhaka, April 4 -- A fire has erupted at a gas lighter factory in Kadamtali of Dhaka's Keraniganj.

The Fire Service and Civil Defence received the report around 1:15pm on Saturday, said duty officer Rojina Akter.

She said three firefighting units are now working to control the flames.

No immediate information is available on the cause of the fire or any casualties, the duty officer added.
