Dhaka, March 5 -- Bangladesh and the United States have held discussions focused on making bilateral relations more "multidimensional" and exploring new avenues for expansion.
The discussions took place on Thursday during a courtesy call by US Assistant Secretary of State Paul Kapur on Humayun Kabir, the foreign affairs advisor to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
A BNP media statement detailing the meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon said the two sides had productive talks on regional cooperation, trade and investment, development partnerships, and other issues of mutual interest.
