Dhaka, May 18 -- Content creator Kaarina Kaisar's funeral prayers have been held at the Central Shaheed Minar.

Following the prayers held around 10pm on Sunday, student leaders present at the venue chanted slogans recalling the July Uprising.

Leaders and activists from organisations including National Citizen Party (NCP), AB Party, Chhatra Dal, Chhatra Shibir and Chhatra Shakti, along with representatives of other political, social and student groups, attended the prayer.

Kaarina will be laid to rest on Monday morning in Abdullapur of Munshiganj's Gazaria Upazila following a final funeral prayer at 7am.
