Bangladesh, Aug. 16 -- East West University (EWU) has hosted a seminar on research and higher education opportunities in Japan, bringing together a delegation of Japanese academics and education professionals to guide Bangladeshi students.

The Department of English at EWU, in association with the Japanese Universities Alumni Association in Bangladesh (JUAAB), organised the seminar titled "Unlock Your Global Future: Research & Study in Japan" on Sunday at the Manzur Elahi Auditorium.

Prof Mohammed Farashuddin, chairperson of EWU's Board of Trustees, was in attendance.

Prof Shams Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of EWU, chaired the event.
