Dhaka, March 12 -- Jamaat-e-Islami chief Shafiqur Rahman has visited BNP leader Mirza Abbas at hospital.

Shafiqur went to see the BNP Standing Committee member on Thursday night at a private hospital in Dhaka, where Abbas is undergoing treatment.

Abbas was hospitalised on Wednesday night after his health deteriorated following Iftar.
