Dhaka, April 6 -- Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) is set to host a two-day international conference on culture and creative industries at its Dhaka campus on Apr 9-10.

Titled "The Nation and Its Imaginations: Culture and Creative Industries in Bangladesh", the conference is being organised by the university's Department of Media and Communication, IUB said in a statement.

According to IUB, the event will bring together academics, researchers and practitioners to discuss how culture and creative industries shape national narratives, identities and economies.
