Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- Ishraque Hossain has announced that he will resign as state minister for Liberation War affairs amid controversy over an armed anti-drug operation.

The son of former Dhaka mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka made the announcement in a Facebook post at 8:36am on Monday.
