Dhaka, March 2 -- Twenty-five flights have been cancelled at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport amid the ongoing war in Iran and the wider Middle East.
Airport spokesman Ibrahim Khalil told bdnews24.com on Monday that a total of 25 inbound and outbound flights had been cancelled over the last three days due to the conflict.
Of these, six flights were cancelled on Saturday, 14 on Sunday, and five more until Monday morning, he said.
Despite the disruptions, some services resumed operations. Salam Airways' OV-403 and OV-401 flights arrived in Chattogram from Muscat on Sunday night.
The airline's OV-401 flight departed Chattogram for Muscat again on Monday morning.
