Dhaka, March 10 -- The Bangladesh government has formed a cabinet committee to develop a crisis management plan to maintain economic stability in the country amid concerns over a global energy crisis and threats to the world economy following the US and Israeli war with Iran.
The finance minister will preside over the seven-minister committee.
A notice announcing the formation of the committee was issued on Monday.
The members of the committee include the minister of local government, rural development and cooperatives; the minister of home affairs; the minister of power, energy and mineral resources; the minister of commerce; the minister of expatriates' welfare and overseas employment, and the minister of food.
