Dhaka, Feb. 22 -- Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma has said New Delhi wants to work with Bangladesh's new government in a "positive, constructive and forward-looking manner" based on mutual interest and benefit.
He made the remarks on Sunday after a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam at the foreign ministry.
This was the first formal meeting between the high commissioner and the new diplomatic leadership since the formation of the BNP-led government.
