Bangladesh, July 14 -- Protesting Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) students scuffled with police at Dhaka University over exams held in adverse weather and the education minister's alleged derogatory remarks.

The incident occurred near the gate of Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall around 12:45pm on Tuesday.

Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir later spoke to the students to calm the situation.
