Bangladesh, July 23 -- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams suspended because of flooding in five districts under the Chattogram education board have been rescheduled to resume from Jul 27.

A revised timetable for the postponed papers in Chattogram, Khagrachhari, Bandarban, Rangamati and Cox's Bazar will be announced after the previously scheduled examinations conclude.

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon announced the decision on Thursday while speaking at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka's Segunbagicha.

Adverse weather and flooding have kept HSC, Alim, HSC Vocational, BMT and Diploma in Commerce exams suspended in the five districts since Jul 8.
