Dhaka, March 23 -- Temperatures are likely to edge up from Monday, the last day of the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, although parts of the country could see showers, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The Met Office said conditions across most of the country are likely to remain mainly dry, even as many people begin returning to work at the end of the holiday.
Meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said on Monday that one or two places in the Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions could see temporary gusty winds, lightning and rain or thundershowers.
The possibility of rain is mainly limited to some border areas of the three divisions, according to him.
