Dhaka, April 2 -- Leaders of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and the Mahanagar Sarbajanin Puja Committee have met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office at the Secretariat on Thursday morning, said the Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.

He told bdnews24.com that the Hindu leaders discussed the various problems they faced with the prime minister.

Local Government Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and BNP Chairman's Advisory Council Member Bijan Kanti Sarkar were present during the meeting.
