Dhaka, June 1 -- Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain has met with the attorney general to examine the legal aspects regarding the deaths of six newborns at Ad-din Medical College Hospital in Dhaka's Moghbazar.

Speaking to the media after a meeting at the Secretariat on Monday, the minister said that the country's chief legal officer had been invited to ensure that all legal aspects of the situation are properly reviewed and that the entire process is carried out in accordance with the law.

He added that a deputy attorney general was also present at the meeting.

The minister further said that the probe committee has been instructed to submit a detailed report by Wednesday.
