Dhaka, May 4 -- The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources has made the use of the Fuel Pass app mandatory for motorcycles at 68 filling stations across Dhaka City.

For 18 specific stations on this list, cars must also use the app to purchase fuel, according to a ministry announcement on Monday.

The move is part of the government's initiative to bring transparency and monitoring to the fuel sector.

By replacing manual sales with a QR code-based digital system, authorities aim to curb long queues, traffic congestion, and the practice of a single vehicle taking fuel multiple times through irregular means.
