Bangladesh, Aug. 21 -- A female student of Class 10 has been rescued from a bathroom at a school in Khulna's Dighalia with her hands, feet and mouth bound.

Construction workers from a nearby building broke down the bathroom door and rescued the girl around 8pm on Thursday, according to Dighalia Police Station chief Hawlader Sanwar Hossain Masum.

The incident took place at Gazirhat Haji Naimuddin Secondary School.

The student is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Khulna.

The police officer said the girl was able to speak to her family while receiving treatment at the clinic.
