Gazette for 46 'dropped' 49th BCS candidates on Monday: minister
Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has assured that no one will face discrimination on the basis of political identity.
He also said the gazette for the remaining 46 candidates selected for appointment to the special education cadre through the 49th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service will be issued on Monday.
Speaking at an emergency press conference at his office on Thursday, the home minister said, "We assure you, we guarantee that no one will face any discrimination because of their political identity. There is a prescribed timeframe for issuing the gazette for appointments. Monday has been set as the date for issuing the gazette for the remaining 46 candidates."
