Bangladesh, Aug. 30 -- Bangladesh has recorded four more suspected measles deaths in a 24-hour count.

The Directorate General of Health Services said 365 people tested positive for measles during the period.

Two fatalities were reported in Barishal Division and one each in Dhaka and Sylhet in the 24 hours to 8am on Saturday, the health directorate said in a bulletin on Sunday.

The DGHS has been publishing data on measles since Mar 15.

According to its official counts, 99 people have died of confirmed measles nationwide to date while 868 people have lost their lives displaying measles symptoms.

Dhaka Division recorded the highest number of deaths with symptoms at 388, followed by Sylhet with 149.
